Lasting pain relief without surgery
New City Chiropractic Center now proudly offers spinal decompression therapy, an exclusive and highly effective non-surgical option for treating a variety of serious back conditions. This procedure is FDA approved and is shown to significantly improve symptoms of:
- Neck pain
- Back pain
- Sciatica
- Spinal stenosis
- Bulging and herniated discs
- Numbness, pain and tingling in the hands and feet
While the DRX9000 decompression machine is a specific type of device used by chiropractors to lengthen and stretch the spine to reduce pressure on a compressed spinal nerve, our decompression table offers the same treatment at no additional cost. Our patients lay comfortably while the decompression table provides a gentle and pleasant pulling sensation on the spine. This tension creates a vacuum effect that helps to open up the joint and disc spaces in the spine. Herniated or bulging disc material is drawn back to the center of the disc, taking the pressure off the nerves and providing lasting pain relief.
Decompression treatments are 15-20 minutes long over the course of 5-6 weeks. During that time, patients show a great reduction in the severity of symptoms, increased mobility and improved performance in daily activities. This therapy has helped many of our patients avoid invasive surgeries and procedures and treatments have been in such high demand that we’ve added an additional decompression unit in our office.
The few offices providing this service often do so as a separate, out of pocket charge. Here at New City Chiropractic Center, spinal decompression therapy is included as part of your office visit when necessary and covered under your health insurance or cash plan. We make sure that you receive that best possible treatment without increasing your health care costs.
